The Marriage Fountain on Vienna's Hoher Markt depicts the marriage of Mary and Joseph and is one of the city's best-known Baroque fountains. Its magnificent white marble statues of the parents of Jesus, together with that of the High Priest, form part of the fountain.
Our engraver Christa Reiter drew inspiration from this exceptional monument when designing the Wedding Medal. It depicts Mary and Joseph joining hands in the covenant of marriage while the Holy Spirit blesses their union. Few scenes express the symbolism of marriage more beautifully. Intertwined wedding rings complete the design on the reverse of the medal. This side also provides space for your personal message, framed by an elegant decorative border. Simply add the fine silver medal to your basket and enter your message in the text field provided. Three lines with up to 15 characters per line produce the best visual result.
