Cast bars – an efficient investment in physical gold
Those who want to invest in larger quantities of gold often opt for classic cast bars. With their higher weight –250 g, 500 g or 1 kg – they offer a noticeable price advantage per gram over investment coins and minted bars. Their simplicity of storage, high weight and the fact that they give investors more gold for their money because they come with a lower premium than investment coins, make cast bars particularly attractive for long-term investors.
Münze Österreich offers high-quality gold bars in weight designations from 1 g to 1,000 g, made of 24 carat fine gold (999.9/1000). Traditional casting methods are used in the production of the heavier bars, in which liquid gold is poured into moulds, giving each bar an individual character.
Two manufacturers – consistent quality
Münze Österreich cast bars are manufactured by the two leading Swiss refineries, Argor-Heraeus SA and PAMP, both of which are LBMA-certified and meet the international ‘Good Delivery’ standard, the most important prerequisite for worldwide tradability and unrestricted acceptance in the professional precious metals market.
Each bar bears the melter and assayer mark of the respective manufacturer as well as the Münze Österreich logo as a guarantee of its proven origin, highest possible quality and trustworthiness. In addition, each bar has a unique serial number that documents its authenticity and traceability.
